At the Hatsuratsu no Sato light-cost elderly home in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, following the experience of a large-scale power outage caused by Typhoon No. 15 in 2019, efforts were made to aim for a nursing facility that could avoid the risks of power outages by considering the introduction of emergency power generation equipment. As a result, one backup emergency generator of 45kVA and one of 50kVA were installed. By automatically switching the power supply during a power outage, it became possible to safely switch the power without direct operation by employees, even in emergencies. This allowed for long-term backup of essential infrastructure such as lighting and air conditioning necessary for facility operations, enabling business continuity during power outages.
